Background
User Friendly Media is a company that was founded to be a print directory company. The reality of that business is that the directories are shrinking and advertisers are choosing to spend money elsewhere, but the internal sales team still largely relies on print sales and commissions. During my time with User Friendly, I worked to diversify our product line and offer a wide variety of digital products that would be digestible to our core small business customers, and also that would easily fit into a pitch alongside our print products.
Project
User Friendly Media's sales team had been very successful selling custom websites (branded as Splash Pages) to our existing print audience. My goal was to come up with a suite of add-on products they could now offer as upsell opportunities to these website customers. My original goal was to offer Listings Management as a standalone product, and ultimately we also added Automated Reputation Management and an AI powered ChatBot to the Dryiv Suite. I was in the process of negotiating a licensing deal with an industry leading business marketing software company when User Friendly Media's CEO, Bruce Howard, approached me with the name Dryiv, which he wanted used for the branding of the product.
Logo Development
See Dryiv logo comps below. The tagline "Drive Your Business" was added to show customers that these products would actively work to increase your business, and also to add clarity to the pronunciation of the brand name.
